Sweet eggs ＠たまご街道

相模原市のたまご街道にある超有名な・・・すみません、相模原市のごく一部のローカルでです・・・養鶏場併設のカフェを紹介します。私が相模原市の今の場所に引っ越してきたころは、この道を通るのがはばかれるほどに道の両側に養鶏場がずらりと並んでおりました・・・当時は、そのあたりには住宅は少なかった。ところが、２０数年たって様変わり、周辺に住宅が建ち、ドラッグストアが出来、道路からは養鶏の雰囲気が伝わってこなくなり、街並みもきれいになって異臭もなくなっているではありませんか・・・
I will tell you about a famous chicken ranch that has a cafe along the Eggs Road (there are many chicken ranches) in Sagamihara. The district was a rural area 20 years ago, but recently has changed for an urban development where many houses stand close together and that is a pretty street lined with houses without a bad smell of poultry.

そんな数ある養鶏場のひとつが、なんとカフェを併設したというのです・・・そんなとこにカフェ作ってお客さん来るんかいな？と思いきや・・・今や、超繁盛店というから、世の中分からんもんです！！

One out of many chicken ranches has opened a cafe... I wonder if customers would come to the cafe... however, the cafe has plenty of customers. It is always unclear about what happens in this world.

これがそのカフェで、主力商品は卵をふんだんに使ったスイーツ類なんだけど、サンドイッチにパンケーキそれに野菜類も売ってます・・・もちろん朝採れ卵も・・・

The main products of the cafe are sweets abundantly using eggs, sandwiches, pancakes... vegetables and of course eggs harvested this morning.

１０時過ぎに行ったんだけど、シュークリーム１回目の分は完売ですと・・・へ～、すげー人気。

The first batch of cream puffs (choux a la creme) already sold out around 10 am... very popular.

それで、仕方なくプリンを買うことに・・・ちっけ～、高け～と思いつつ買って、食べてみたが、、これは美味い・・・口の中でとろける様に甘みが広がります・・・この店で買ったものがすぐ食べられるようにテーブル席があって店で落ち着いて食べることも出来ます。

Then I bought puddings... small and expensive, but very delicious. The cafe has built in tables and seats to eat immediately and relaxed.

野菜も種類が豊富・・・でも良く見ると、「虫くいもあります」の張り紙が、無農薬で安全な食材ですよと言っているようです。

Many kinds of vegetables... "some are worm-eaten" on a tag. It says that these are agrochemical free.

高くても、付加価値が高いものはやっぱりよく売れるんですね・・・店の紹介記事を読むと、卵作りにもすごく工夫をされているようですし、その卵も良く売れているようでした・・・みんな持てないぐらいいっぱい買っていかれますね～・・・私は、別のルート（洋菓子屋さん）経由で卵は纏め買いしています。
