満中陰法要

今日、鎌倉の名刹二伝寺で父親の四十九日法要を身内の親族が集まって執り行いました。
The Buddhist most important memorial service on the 49th day after my farther's death was held at a noted temple in Kamakura today.

この寺、５００年ほど前に北条氏によって開かれた寺で、現在の住所は藤沢市になっていますが、鎌倉玉縄城の領内と言うことで鎌倉の名刹と呼ばれています。この本堂の左手に小高い場所があって、そこが藤沢市の最高峰と認定されているようです・・・寺の私有地のため山の名前はなく、勝手に登ることは出来ません。なお、その山頂には平安時代（９世紀）の武将平良文の塚が現存しています。
The temple was founded about 500 years ago by a military commander of the Warring states period. And there is a mound for a military commander around the 9th century at the hill top in the temple grounds.

境内は、梅がほぼ終わって、河津桜が満開でした・・・ちなみに、鎌倉の家の梅はちょうど今が見ごろです。

家の近くの和食レストランの座敷貸切で親族一同、今後も結束を固めるべく会食しました・・・残念ながら酒抜きです。
We were dining together to unite our family at a Japanese restaurant.

この半年近く、仕事も趣味も断っておりましたが、ぼちぼち身辺の整理がつき次第復帰したいと思っております・・・その節はよろしくお願いいたします。
