A year-end general meeting of JH1YNY members at a Japanese-style bar in Machida, Tokyo

I was going to join a year-end gathering at a Japanese-style bar in Machida, Tokyo yesterday. We all are ham radio operators of JH1YNY (ex-NEC Yokohama Amateur Radio Club).

Delicious dishes... salad, snacks and motsunabe（もつ鍋、stew of giblets）... yummy!!!

We had the happiest time at the Japanese-style bar... thank you all !!

A year-end gathering at 山の家（hilltop shack）in Machida, Tokyo

I was going to join a year-end gathering at a hilltop radio shack in Machida, Tokyo yesterday. We all are ham radio operators being on the air and making radio sets at the hilltop radio shack.

Delicious dishes... We obtain a variety of fresh ingredients from our local vegetable garden. And the main dish was sukiyaki-style kamonabe (duck hot pot)... yummy!!!

We are crazy about microwave equipments... Now, big on 5.8GHz FPV... Measuring transmission characteristics by a spectrum analyzer.

We had the happiest time at the hilltop radio shack... thank you all !!

I had lunch at a restaurant serves wine and grills in Machida today.
Salad... and Maranges 1er Cru La Fussière from Bourgogne France.

（注）マランジュ プルミエ クリュ ラ フシエール・・・マランジュはフランス ブルゴーニュ地方にあるブドウ生産地で、赤ワインは、ほとんどがピノノワールで作られる。タンニンを多く含み、スパイシーでフルボディのしっかりした味わいが楽しめる。

Grilled pork loin with teriyaki sauce and yuzukosyo... it is sweet but also spicy...
(note) yuzu=citron, kosyo=pepper

It goes with spicy full bodied red wine... yummy!!

（注）鎌倉駅西口の御成商店街からちょっと中に入ったところにあって、分かりにくいです。近くにぺぺという店もあって間違えそう・・・

It is one of the most popular restaurants in Kamakura, and has people lined up...
古都鎌倉の雰囲気と由比ガ浜の潮風を感じさせるラッテリアべべは、チーズ工房の自家製新鮮チーズと店内の薪窯で焼き上げた焼き立ての熱々ピザを食べることができる人気店です・・・休日は、何週間？も前に予約する必要があります。

We are former colleagues of mine from the same company.

Grilled Japanese sea bass（スズキのグリル）

I had lunch at a restaurant serves wine and grills in Machida today.
Salad and Carl Sittmann Oppenheimer Krötenbrunnen from Germany.

（注）カールジットマン社のオッペンハイマー・クレーテンブルンネンは、ドイツ・オッペンハイマー地方産のほどよいコクがありやや甘口のライトイエローの白ワインです。クレーテンブルンネンはブドウ畑の名前で「ヒキガエルの泉」の意。

Grilled Japanese sea bass with vegetables and tomato sauce.

It goes with rich white wine of Oppenheimer Krötenbrunnen... yummy!!
白身魚の鱸（スズキ）に酸味のあるトマトソースとコクがあってやや甘口でライトイエローのオッペンハイマー・クレーテンブルンネンが魚料理らしい優しくデリケートな味わいを醸し出してくれますね。

Microwave Exhibition 2017

I went to Microwave Exhibition at Pacifico Yokohama (Pacific Convention Plaza Yokohama) in Nishi-ku, Yokohama today.

今日は、三日の会期の最終日で、比較的すいていました・・・

一番人気？は、やはり Analog Devices で結構な人だかりでした・・・マイクロウェーブのモジュール、Analog Devices なくして語れませんからね・・・

私の興味は、マイクロウェーブのハイパワーモジュール・・・何と言っても、日本ではここを差し置いて抜きんでるところはありませんね？・・・しばし、歓談させてもらいました。やはりTWT（進行波管）は健在・・・嬉しい限りです。３００GＨz、１Ｗ出力の球が展示されていましたが、ドライバーをはじめ周辺回路はどうやって作るんですかね？？

防衛・宇宙関係では、量産品にはない面白い製品が結構ありました・・・X-band 500W GaN SSPA、MPM (Microwave Power Module)、Helix TWT　等々・・・写真が撮れないので詳細をお見せ出来ないのが残念・・・（笑）
