Mochi-Tsuki (pounding boiled rice into rice cakes) for the celebration of the New Year was held by the senior citizen's club in the neighborhood.
この辺りの都会とは言えないど田舎では、老人といえど野良仕事で鍛えた？パワーがあります。出来たての餅は、すぐにその場で料理して全部食べちゃいます・・・今日の参加者は約５０人！！
まず、全員でお雑煮をいただいて新年を祝います・・・
Though country bumpkins are old, they have lost none of their energy. Fresh pounded rice cakes were eaten up there immediately....The number of participants was about 50 !!
This is a soup with rice cakes and vegetables.
あとは、各自好みで、あんこ、納豆、大根おろし・・・私は、全部たいらげました。
Rice cakes with bean paste, natto (fermented soybeans), grated daikon (Japanese radish).
そして、おつまみ・・・左端に見えるのは、余興のおみくじのお箸で、私が引いたのは「大吉」・・・いわく、仕事運絶好調☀最強の日ですと！！！！
Snacks...with a written oracle at the lower left...it said that I would have the best of luck.
ま～、会が会だけに不吉な運の箸はありません・・・はっはっは。
There was no unlucky because we all are old men and women...hahaha.
