We, YHG members were holding an outdoor gathering with bamboo shoot soup and operating a ham radio at KamiOshima Camp Site the day before yesterday.
移動運用の方は、いつものＪＥ１ＧＭＦ特製スペシャルＧ５ＲＶ・・・独自設計の片側エレメント長３６ｍで自宅には張れない代物・・・と小型の移動機で、相模川の河川敷から海外にも電波を飛ばしてみようというわけです。ちょっと力不足でアンテナの地上高が６ｍ程度しか確保できず・・・フルで１０ｍなんだけど、若いもんがいないからな～
Special G5RV made by JE1GMF... 36m long for each element, but unfortunately top of the antenna was only 6m high... hahaha.
まず、会場から奈良在住のメンバーＪＡ３ＩＫＣと今回不参加の横浜在住ＪＬ１ＯＶＣとスケジュールＱＳＯ・・・無線で３０分ほどラグチュウしました。
QSO with JA3IKC in Nara prefecture and JL1OVC in Yokohama city on 40m SSB.
しかし、天気の方も無線の方もコンディションは悪く・・・会場到着時は晴れ間も出ていたんだけれど、途中から大粒の雨がポシャリポシャリときました・・・ま～、なんとか海外局とも交信に成功しました。
Though the condition was bad, we successfully contacted with an oversea ham radio station.
それで、バーベキューのほうはというと・・・こんな具合です。

天気は良くなかったのですが、バーベキューに無線にみんなで盛り上がり、クラブ員の親睦を深めることができました。
Though the weather was not so fine, the outdoor gathering deepened our friendship by BBQ with ham radio.
