Ratatouille (ラタトゥイユ)

My homemade dish called "Ratatouille".
Ratatouille is a French stewed vegetable dish.




Recipe : 3 serving
400g canned whole peeled tomatoes (トマト缶)
1 onion diced 2cm cubes
2 eggplant half-moon sliced 2cm long
1 zucchini half-moon sliced 2cm long (golden zucchini is better)
2 green pepper sliced(ピーマン又はししとう)
1 garlic clove finely chopped
leaves of basil
pinch black pepper
3 grams chicken stock (consomme)
1/4 cups white wine if you like
2 tbs. olive oil

(注)tbs.=table spoon (大さじ) tsp.=tea spoon (小さじ)
cup=200ml in Japan (240ml in U.S., 250ml in Australia and Canada... )

Directions :
1. Slice eggplant and zucchini and mixed with consomme in a bowl.
2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan... Add onion and garlic and stir-fry.
3. Once they come to color and soften, add eggplant, zucchini and green pepper and stir-fry.
4. Once they come to soften, add tomato and wine.
5. Cover with a lid... Simmer for 20mins.
