My homemade dish called "Bacon Cheddar Cheese Deviled Eggs".
Recipe : 3 servings
3 eggs
1.5 tbs. mayonnaise
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. yellow mustard
suitable amount of green onion
1 strip bacon
10 grams shredded cheddar cheese
pinch black pepper and salt
(注)tbs.=table spoon (大さじ) tsp.=tea spoon (小さじ)
Directions :
1. Place eggs in a small pot. Add cold water to the pot to completely submerge the eggs. Bring to a boil, then turn the heat lower. Let the eggs sit in the hot water for 12 minutes.
2. Transfer the eggs to a bowl of cold water to cool. Peel the eggs.
3. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks. Transfer the yolks to a bowl and set aside the halved egg whites.
4. Mash the yolks by a folk. Stir in the mayonnaise, lemon juice and yellow mustard until the fillings is smooth.
5. Put the fillings into the halved egg whites.
6. Top the deviled eggs with green onions, bacon and cheddar cheese. Top with ground pepper and serve...

【筆者感想】
パーティ料理のアペタイザー(前菜)で白ワインのアテです。特に米国で人気の料理で胡椒や香辛料の効いた料理を悪魔の料理と呼んでいたからこの名前なのだそうです。簡単だけどとっても美味いです!!いろんなバージョンがあるみたい・・・。
