The Big Cut of Steak "Ikinari Steak" (いきなりステーキ湯島店）

I had lunch at a steak house in Yushima, Tokyo today.

The standing steak restaurant "Ikinari Steak" is to serve super thick meats quickly and economically...
Lunch special Misuji Steak 300g served with salad, soup, and rice.
(note) misuji cut of beef = shoulderblade or inner shoulder meat.

It is a fun and brand new experience for Japanese (in Japan) to consume such super thick high-quality meats...

Yushima Tenman-gu shrine (湯島天満宮、湯島天神）near "Ikinari Steak"...

A yearly festival called "Kiku matsuri（菊まつり）" around Yushima Tenman-gu shrine...

Very, very beautiful !!

Chicken cutlet with cheese sauce（チキンカツレツ）

I had lunch at a restaurant serves wine and grills in Machida today.
Salad and Sangiovese Toscana 2014 from Italy.

（注）サンジョベーゼ・トスカーナは、イタリア・トスカーナ地方産の濃いルビー色をした赤ワインです。フルーティでスパイシーな香りと強い酸味があり、肉料理やチーズとよく合うようです。

Chicken cutlet... Japanese style chicken cutlet with cheese sauce.

Cheese sauce... soft and rich taste... goes with chicken cutlet and with acidic red wine too... yummy!!
滑らかで濃厚なチーズソースがチキンカツレツとよく合ううえに酸味の強いサンジョベーゼワインが一層料理を引き立ててくれますね・・・美味いです！！。

Sagamihara Festa 2017

Yesterday I went to Sagamihara Festa 2017 at U.S. Army Sagami General Depot in Sagamihara and was running the Special Event Amateur Radio Station 8J1GINGA/1 located at the festival.

（注）開場前なので一般の入場者はまだいません

A donation to the amateur radio fund and got a ramen ticket for the ramen grand prix...

Young ladies and young men... and an OLD? ham radio operator, hahaha...

A workshop for making portable radio receivers...

（注）毎度のことながら、電波教室「ラジオを作ろう」は超人気で1時間待ち状態・・・タダやからね～

外人さんも参加、AFNが聞こえるって喜んでました！！

Ramen (Chinese noodle) Grand Prix... chosen by popular vote.

The vendors attracted customers with their calls and banners...

（注）まだ開始早々だというのに、呼び込みの声が響いてきます・・・昼時だと、すごい混雑で写真なんか撮れないですから・・・

Tandoori pork（タンドリーポーク）

I had lunch at a restaurant serves wine and grills in Machida today.
Salad and Hojyo Wine Vintage Red from Tottori, Japan.

（注）ホージョーワイン・ヴィンテージ・赤は、鳥取県産のやや重口のメルロー種の赤ワインです。

Tandoori pork... an Indian style dish consisting of spice marinated pork and vegetables.

Absolutely delicious and the flavor is really good... goes with rich (full-bodied) red wine... yummy!!
インド料理によく出てくるタンドリーチキンのポーク版、、香りを嗅いだだけでよだれが出そう！　おまけに、リッチな鳥取県産のメルロー種の赤ワインがスパイシーな料理に負けず劣らずで料理を引き立ててくれます・・・実に美味いです！！。

湯河原温泉カラオケの旅

この１０月３０日（月）と３１日（火）に近所の老人が集まって、バスで行く秋のカラオケ旅行を行いました。ＪＲ橋本駅前近くの集合場所からホテルの専有バスで一路湯河原温泉へ・・・ホテルに正午頃到着。
We, a karaoke group of the neighborhood senior citizen's club went to the Yugawara hot spring resort to sing at karaoke in a hotel on Oct. 30 and 31.
We got to the hotel in Yugawara about noon.

ホテル到着後、すぐに近所の鮮魚料理「魚繁」で昼食・・・
And then, we went to a Japanese style fresh fish restaurant to have lunch.

鯛のかぶと煮と刺身定食・・・
Simmered head of sea bream and assorted sashimi combo... yummy !!!

（注）刺身定食は、隣の人のですよ・・・為念

それで、カラオケの方はというと、こんな感じ・・・
And karaoke...

トイレと食事と風呂以外はカラオケ三昧・・・持ち歌が２０曲以上？ないと長期戦のバトルに対応できないという過酷な歌合戦？？・・・しかし落伍者なし、みんな好きなんやね～。
総勢１７名、飲んで歌ってのカラオケ三昧・・・到着した日の２時から次の日の２時まで２４時間オールカラオケなんて信じられます？？・・・ちなみに睡眠は午前零時（温泉終了）から午前５時（温泉開始）のたった５時間・・・本当にこれは、過酷だが楽しいバトルでした・・・ははは

（注）チェックアウト後もカラオケ室が使用できます・・・帰りのバスが２時出発
Twenty four hours karaoke without interruption except meals, bathing, some sleep... hahaha.

Murgh curry (Spicy Indian chicken curry: ムルギーカレー)

I had lunch at an authentic curry restaurant "Shibaシバ" near Inage station in Chiba on the way back home from National Institute of Radiological sciences today.

Murgh curry... spicy Indian chicken curry originating in Japan.
(note) murgh=chicken in Hindi

Murgh curry: boiled chicken thigh in spicy curry, mild vegetable curry and fried rice in one plate... very yummy!!
ムルギーカレー、スパイシーなインドカレーとして定番になっているようですが、実は、日本で考案されたもののようです。
鶏の骨付きもも肉を煮込んだスパイシーなカレーとマイルドな野菜カレーとグリーンピースの入ったフライドライスがワンプレートになっています。
この鶏もも肉、スプーンでつつくだけで、ぼろぼろと骨から外れ、骨付き肉の苦手な人でも手を汚すことなく全部平らげることできます・・・ぐちゃぐちゃにつぶしてカレーと混ぜるのだそうです・・・これはらくちん、美味い、、骨以外何も残りませんでした（笑）

I had lunch at a restaurant serves wine and grills in Machida today.
Salad and いわて銀河ブドウ園 Riesling Lion from Iwate, Japan.

（注）いわて銀河ブドウ園は、岩手県産のリースリング・リオン種の豊かな酸味としっかりした飲み口の辛口白ワインです。

Bollito Misto... an Italian stew consisting of various cuts of beef (beef tongue and beef round) , chicken and vegetables.

The meat is sliced thickly with an aromatic vegetable broth... yummy!!
イタリアのお肉のおでんと呼ばれるボリートミスト、牛、鶏などの肉と野菜を煮込み、練がらしをつけて食べる・・・これって、本当に、日本のおでんに似てますね・・・美味いです！　おまけに、リッチな岩手県産のリースリング・リオンが芳醇な出汁と相性がよく、料理をじっくり楽しむことが出来ました。
