Scotch Eggs (スコッチエッグ)

  My homemade dish called "Scotch eggs".


Recipe : 3 servings
3 eggs
150 grams minced beef and pork
1 onion chopped
1 beaten egg・・・溶き卵
1.5 tbs. bread crumbs・・・panko (パン粉)
1/4 tsp. salt
pinch black pepper
3 tbs. flour
45 grams bread crumbs・・・panko (パン粉)
3 tbs. olive oil
3 tbs. Worcestershire sauce・・・ウスターソース
3 tbs. ketchup (tomato sauce) 
3 tbs. sake

(注)tbs.=table spoon (大さじ) tsp.=tea spoon (小さじ)

Directions :
1. Make hard-cooked eggs in 800 ml boiling water + 1 tsp. salt in 7 min.
2. In large bowl, mix minced meat, onion, beaten egg, bread crumbs, salt and black pepper. Shape mixture into 3 patties.
3. Roll each hard cooked egg in flour to coat and place on patty and shape patty around egg.
4. Coat with bread crumbs to cover completely.
5. Heat olive oil in a frying pan, and bake them in 10 min. or until they are thoroughly cooked.
