Bun Cha Gio Chay (Noodles with vegetarian egg rolls)

  My homemade dish called "Bun Cha Gio Chay".

(note) bun=noodle, cha gio=egg roll, chay=vegetarian

Recipe : 3 servings
70 grams rice noodles (Be-fun)・・・米粉(ビーフン)、春雨でも代用可
150 grams egg rolls (spring rolls)・・・6個相当
1/2 cucumber sliced
pickled daikon radish and carrots・・・なます1パック
1/2 lettuce shredded
suitable amount of fresh herbs
****sauce****
1 tbs. sugar
3 tbs. water
1 tbs. lime juice
2 tbs. soy sauce
1 tbs. fish sauce (nam pla)
1 clove garlic minced
suitable amount of red chili pepper if you like

(注)tbs.=table spoon (大さじ) tsp.=tea spoon (小さじ)

Directions : 
No direction for cooking... because of using pre-cooked noodles and egg rolls.
It is composed of rice noodles and egg rolls on a bed of shredded lettuce with fresh herbs and pickled radish and carrot... and extra option of sliced cucumber.
Pour the vegan fish sauce into the bowl... very delicious!

【筆者感想】
米粉も春巻きも中国由来の食材のようだけど東南アジア、特にタイとかベトナムでよく用いられているようです。出来合いの春巻きを買って来ればこれ簡単に作れます。タレ(ソース)が独特で非常に美味いです・・・現地のものは唐辛子を入れるようですが私はニンニクだけで充分(笑)。食べる直前にタレを全体に回し掛けして食べます。
