Stuffed Peppers (肉詰めピーマン)

  My homemade dish called "Stuffed Peppers".


Recipe : 3 servings
3 large bell pepper・・・日本ではパプリカとして売られている
200 grams minced beef and pork
1/2 onion chopped
1 garlic clove finely chopped
1 cup cooked rice
400 grams can chopped tomatoes・・・カットトマト缶
1 tsp. salt
pinch black pepper
10 grams spice mix・・・タコス、ジャンバラヤ、ケイジャン料理用のスパイス
suitable amount cheese and parsley
1 tbs. olive oil
3 tbs. ketchup (tomato sauce) if you like

(注)tbs.=table spoon (大さじ) tsp.=tea spoon (小さじ)

Directions :
1. Remove top of pepper and remove seeds... rinse peppers.
2. Heat enough water to boiling... add peppers and cook about 2 min.
3. In large frying pan, stir-fry garlic and onion... add minced meat, stirring occasionally until meat is brown.
4. Add spice mix and tomatoes and cook until hot.
5. Stuff peppers with meat mixture.
6. Bake 10 min. in an oven or until cheese and pepper are tender.

(注)6番は主にチーズをとろけさせるためなので、別の方法でチーズをとろけさせればなくても良い(2番をやっておかないとベーキングが必要で時間がかかる)。
調理済みのライスを入れてから肉を入れる。
