Grilled pacific cod with kadaif (真鱈のカダイフ包み焼き)

I had lunch at a restaurant serves wine and grills in Machida today.
Salad, soup and Japanese white wine Koshu.


Grilled pacific cod with kadaif served with salted cod roe and grated turnip...
(note) kadaif in Italian or French = kanafeh in English


A sauce made from salted cod roe and grated turnip goes well with fish and gives me an appetite

(注)魚料理には、辛口ですっきりした喉ごしの甲州がよく合います・・・

A sushi restaurant "鮨處もり山" in Ofuna

I had lunch at a sushi restaurant near Ofuna station yesterday. It is an annex to downtown Ofuna, an isolated hideout.
(注)大船の奥座敷で隠家と言われている、駅からちょっと離れた鮨處もり山に行ってみました


It is splendid and its sushi has superior ingredients... with a good atmosphere, not for a big eater!!
(注)店のつくりも寿司も高級感があふれていて、寿司をたらふく食べようという人には向いていない店ですね…ネタを楽しむより雰囲気を楽しむ店のようです。仕事上のちょっとした会食や密会に向いていると思う(笑)

I had lunch at a restaurant serves wine and grills in Machida today.
Salad and red wine produced in Georgia.


(注)ワイン発祥の地として知られるジョージア(グルジア・・・ロシア語・・・とも言う)のセミスイートの甘口ワインで、肉料理やトマトソースのパスタに合うとされている

Whole confit leg is baked to crisp the skin... on a full stomach... yummy!!

Soft cod roe and Angus beef(タラの白子とアンガス牛)

I had dinner at an Italian restaurant in Kamakura today.
Rosso Masieri from Italy and Chablis Premier Cru from France.
(注)ロッソ・マシエリはフルーティーで素朴な味わいのイタリア定番の赤ワインで、シャブリ・プルミエ・クリュはシャルドネ種のフルーティーなフランスの辛口白ワインです。

Bouillabaisse (ブイヤベース)

I had lunch at a restaurant serves wine and grills in Machida today.
Salad and Japanese white wine Koshu.


(注)日本を代表するブドウ「甲州」を作っている若尾果樹園のワインで、辛口ですっきり後味が良い

Bouillabaisse... a French-style stew containing seafood and vegetables.


Seafood and vegetables produce a good quality broth with a rich flavor... yummy!!

Tempura, sashimi and oysters at "翻車魚丸" in Fujisawa Japan

I had lunch with my family at a Japanese seafood restaurant in Fujisawa today.


Tempura, thick slices of raw fish and oysters... fried and raw... Fatty bonito sashimi, chopped raw horse mackerel, winter yellowtails are high-quality, fresh and yummy... and oysters are now in season... have a rich flavor !!

Conger pike fritters with semolina (鱧のセモリナフリット)

I had lunch at a restaurant serves wine and grills in Machida today.
Salad and white wine of sauvignon from France.



(注)テラス・ド・ギレム・ソーヴィニヨンブランは軽めでフルーティで香よく、すっきり系の白ワイン

Conger pike fritters with semolina served with basil tartar sauce.


(note) Conger pike (鱧、はも、sea eel) is treated as a luxury foodstuff in Japan.

And an additional order to finish lunch... red wine of nocera from Sicily, Italy.


(注)マストロ二コラ・ノチェーラはイタリア、シチリアの生産量の少ない希少なワインで、フルーティーな割には濃厚な味で、ほのかにタンニンが残って余韻が楽しめます・・・これ、お奨め!

Fritters goes well with tartar sauce, white wine and also red wine too... yummy !

(注)Texはテキサス、Mexはメキシコのことで、Tex-Mexとはメキシコ風アメリカ料理のことなのですが、この店はフィリピン系のチェーン店のようです

A Korean cuisine "羅生門" in Tebiro, Kamakura

I had dinner at a Korean restaurant in Kamakura last night.


Salted tongue, cubed daikon kimchi, etc...


Spareribs, diaphragm, sirloin, etc... and vegetables.


Yakiniku (grilled meat dish) with my wife and son.


Yummy... on a full stomach !

Salad and red wine of Sangiovese from Tuscany (Toscana), Italy.
(注)イタリア、トスカーナ州の赤ワイン用のブドウ品種のサンジョヴェーゼ。フルーティでルビー色をしていて適度の渋み、酸味で飲みやすい

That goes well with mozzarella and Punta Aquila Primitivo... yummy !
柔らかい肉にモッツァレラチーズが溶け込んで美味いうえに、力強いプリミティーヴォで最強の組み合わせを演出して極旨ですよ!
