Chicken curry

ＪＲ横浜線の矢部と淵野辺の近くにある相模原随一の有名なネパールカレーの店ポカラに行ってみました。インドカレーやタイカレーと違ってマイルドなところが日本人受けしてるんではないかと・・・？
I had lunch at a restaurant that serves curries of Nepalese cusine near Yabe station, Sagamihara  today.

Chicken curry... yummy!!

水分が少ないのが特徴で、マイルドながらも体の芯から温まってくるような不思議な味覚があります。ドリンクのラッシーがやや酸味があって辛口のカレーに良く合いますね。この美味さは病み付きになりそう・・・またちょくちょく行ってみたいと思います。

White wine made from Koshu grapes goes well with smoked mackerel to have a good appetite...

A Tex-Mex fast food restaurant near the U.S. Army Camp Zama serves Tex-Mex fast foods and Filipino coffee.
（注）Texはテキサス、Mexはメキシコのことで、Tex-Mexとはメキシコ風アメリカ料理のことなのですが、この店はフィリピン系のチェーン店のようです。今日は、迷彩服の方々とその家族でしょうか満員だったけど、カウンター席が空いていました・・・この店のカウンター席、外に向いており私は大好きです。

A burrito with fried whitefish, cabbage and salsa filling and blended coffee...

A burrito is a traditional Mexican dish... very healthy and delicious !

Dill sauce, radish puree and white wine from Alsace go well with salmon to have a good appetite...

Dipped bowl with young yellowtail （イナダ漬け丼）

I had lunch at an American style sushi restaurant near Odakyu-Sagamihara station in Sagamihara  today. It is located along Kanagawa Prefecture Route 51.
県道５１号線にあるこの店（Sushi51）、日本の寿司屋の面影はなく、完璧なまでにアメリカ西海岸風・・・最近、自転車用のラックが設置されて県道を行きかう自転車愛好家の方のための休憩基地化を目指している？ようです・・・黄色の旗が目印！！

Lunch special... Dipped bowl made with young yellowtail dipped in soup stock and soy sauce mixed with wasabi... yuuuummyyyy!!
ランチセットの日替り海鮮丼・・・いなだ漬け丼・・・わさび醬油が効いていて、とっても美味！！

I will be there again in the near future...

A gyoza (jiaozi) house near Odakyu-sagamihara station

I had lunch at a famous gyoza ( jiaozi ) house "ギョウザ萬金" near Odakyu-sagamihara station today. The house is well-known to foreign residents... army civilian employees.
この店、オダサガ（小田急相模原）では超有名で、外人さんも多いです。餃子しかないので凄くシンプル・・・外人さん好み？・・・回転が速いし、歩留まりもいいから安くて美味いです！！

Regular gyoza and egg soup... yummy!!
右、焼餃子１０個（略称、焼の１０）・・・ちなみに焼餃子にはライスは付けないのがスタンダードのようです。左、玉子スープ、焼餃子との相性が抜群で、この二つの組み合わせがデファクト・スタンダードらしい？？。

タレは自分好みに作る必要があります・・・餃子の中身はシンプルな野菜、ニンニクは入っていないので、タレに好みで入れます・・・食後、人と面談する人は、ニンニクを入れないほうが良いです。辛いのが好みの方は、一味を入れます。

I made a New Year's visit to Tsurugaoka Hachiman shrine in Kamakura yesterday.

And I passed through the Shonan Beach on my way home...

Kusatsu hot springs (草津温泉紀行）

I was in Kusatsu hot springs, Gunma to get enough rest in the New Year's holidays in Japan.
An ekiben (box lunch) on a super express bound for Kusatsu...　「雑穀米和風弁当」

Light snow was falling at Kusatsu town, Gumma.

Breakfast special at a B&B (bed & breakfast) in Kusatsu on the following day... 近くのペンションでモーニングサービス...

I made a visit to a shrine at the end of the Year.
年の瀬の白根神社参拝・・・

A special dish prepared for the New Year.
正月のおせち・・・

I was on the return without ham radio operation at the very beginning of the new year....

降雪と積雪で無線の移動運用はせずに正月早々帰宅の途につきました。
