A formal lunch at a restaurant in Nishi-kamakura

I had a formal lunch at an Italian restaurant "フォセッタ" in western Kamakura today.
Appetizers and Praruar from Sicilia, Italy...
まずは前菜７種盛りとシチリア産プラルアール
（注）Catarratto種１００％の癖になる飲みごたえの赤ワインのような白ワイン

An after-meal drink...

ランチにして、このボリューム・・・しかし、すんなりお腹に入っちゃいます。お手頃価格なのに最高の美味しさで優雅な時間を過ごせます。小さなレストランなんだけど、格式高く雰囲気もおもてなしも最高ですね！・・・ランチもディナーも予約しておかないと席は取れないと思います？

I had lunch at a stew restaurant "銀座古川" in Komachi, Kamakura today.

Curry and rice with pork cutlet is the Japanese-style dish improved from the foreign cuisine. Pork cutlet is one of the stable items as a topping for curry. It is the most popular dish in the menu... yummy!!

カレーってシチューと同じ煮込み料理でカレースパイスが入っているか否かと考えればよいみたい（笑）。で、この店のカレーはシチュー寄りでスパイシーさは薄く超マイルドで日本人好みのカレー味。旨味は玉ねぎがたくさん入っているからのようです・・・昔からの日本のカレーの味・・・美味い！！

Frutti di mare （フルッティ ディ マーレ）

Salad... and Barbera d'alba from Italy.
（注）バルベーラ・ダブラはイタリア北部が主な生産地（アルバは地名）であるバルベーラ種の滑らかで飲みやすい赤ワインです。

Frutti di mare (shellfish dish in English)... Soup stock made from fish and shellfish is yummy!!
これ、イタリア語で「海の幸」＝「魚介類」のことで、シーフードミックス料理を意味するそうです。本来は貝類だけの料理をさしたようですが、現在では甲殻類とイカ・タコを含めたシーフードミックス料理を意味するようです。魚介類のエキスが出た出汁が美味い！！

It goes well with red wine with a elegant taste... yummy!!

Subgum chow mein (Stir-fried noodles with starchy sauce)... very delicious!!

Salad... and San Giorgio Pinot Grigio Garganega from Veneto, Italy.

Bacon and poached egg sandwich... yummy!!
パンは大きく日本人の口には合わない大きさだが、ランチとして十分な大きさ。ポーチドエッグ（落とし卵）がベーコンの塩味を和らげて美味い！！

An antique market in Kamakura（鎌倉骨董祭）

There is an antique market held on the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine grounds in Kamakura today.

I was enjoying an excellent display of lotus blossoms at Genji-ike pond in Tsurugaoka Hachimangu.

Many white doves in Tsurugaoka Hachimangu...

The symbol of the peace....
（注）灰色の普通の鳩は pigeon というようです。

味は濃厚にして肉は柔らかく・・・美味い！！

6m & Down Contest 2019

７月６日（土）と７日（日）に町田市相原の無線小屋「山の家」から６ｍ ＆ Ｄｏｗｎ コンテストに参加しました。両日ともに雨で移動運用の局が多いコンテストだけに最悪のコンディションでした。
I had fun in 6m & Down Contest at a hilltop radio shack, Machida, Tokyo on July 6, 7. It was raining and rain negatively effected the activity of mobile radio stations.

今回も、参加者は少なく・・・常連の２局で何とかやりくり・・・
ま～、得点を稼ぐつもりなんか最初から毛頭ないので、適当？にデスクに向かっていました・・・どっかのクラブ局みたいに張り付いているわけじゃない・・・
それで、結果はどうだったかと言うと・・・こんな具合で、例年並？・・・交信できていないバンドがあって、例年以下？？
The score and the QSO rate... as usual? ...

ＱＳＯレートは結構普通な感じなのですが（縦軸は見ないように・・・ははは）、最初の交信が２１１８で最後の交信が１３３９ですから、まったくやる気のなさがこれから窺えますね、制限時間が１５００までだから、やっぱり最後の追い込みがないです・・・！！
それに、４３０ＭＨｚ以上の周波数帯のアンテナが不調で予想外の不出来。古いし誰もメンテしてないし、雨だから屋外作業はできないはで、途中から全くやる気なし・・・得点なんかどうでもいい・・・投げやりだけど、なんとも気合の入らない二日間でした。
Antenna troubles due to rain.... We had no spirit at all during these two days.

Yuzo Toyoda's concert, 豊田勇造７０歳記念７０曲フリーコンサート

昨日、京都市円山公園音楽堂であった豊田勇造のライブコンサートに行ってきました。豊田勇造君は京都の高校の同級生でフォークのシンガーソングライターなのです。
Yuzo Toyoda, my high school classmate and a singer-songwriter was having a concert for his 70th birthday commemoration at the outdoor concert hall in Matuyama Park, Kyoto yesterday.

フォーク世代のおっちゃん、おばちゃんで会場はいっぱい・・・しかもすごい熱気！！

８０歳８０曲フリーコンサートもやると豪語していました・・・絶対行くぞ！！
Ten years later for his 80th birthday commemoration, I will be there to listen to his 80 songs... absolutely!!

I had lunch at Tankuma "たん熊" kyo-ryori, local cuisine of Kyoto in Kyoto yesterday.

Japanese tempura rice bowl... expensive but yummy!!
京都高島屋の美食空間「京回廊」にある京都を代表する名店「たん熊」の天丼・・・高いだけあって美味いです！！

【おまけ・・・フランソア喫茶室】
ランチの後、ちょっと時間つぶしで四条河原町の超有名で粋な「フランソア喫茶室」に行ってみました。

建物が国の登録有形文化財に指定されているだけあって高貴な雰囲気・・・やはり、ドリンクもフードも高貴であった（笑）。

（注）シャトー勝沼 勝沼ブランは山梨県産甲州種の酸味と果実味のバランスの良い辛口白ワインです。

Grilled swordfish and okra, octopus, tomatoes, green pepper in vinegar... The sourness of okra octopus salad gives extra taste to the salty flavor of grilled sword fish... yummy!!
オクラとタコ酢の爽やかな酸味が塩味のメカジキを引き立たせてくれますね！
