 I went to All Japan Microwave Meeting at a building called "全国家電会館" in Yushima, Tokyo today.

I was excited from start to finish about the high-level lectures in the meeting.

And poster sessions... demonstrations and presentations of research information...

参加者が約１００名という盛況さ・・・日大衛星「てんこう２」搭載機器の展示があって学生さん多数の参加があり、少しばかり若返ったような感じだった（笑）。またIC-９０５の人気はすごくICOMエンジニアとの質疑における掛け合いが熱気を帯びて関心の度合いが高いことがうかがえました。ただ、ICOMではマイクロ波帯はアマチュア無線が2次業務になっているため活性化することと引き換えにプロの業務との間のせめぎ合いが起こることを懸念しているとのことでした。
