A year-end gathering at a hilltop radio shack (山の家) in Machida, Tokyo

I was going to join a year-end gathering at a hilltop radio shack in Machida, Tokyo today. We all are ham radio operators being on the air and making radio sets at the hilltop radio shack.

Delicious dishes... We obtain a variety of fresh ingredients from our local vegetable garden... yummy!!!

Hot pot called "Nabe" in Japanese... 鍋料理

Ingredients in Nabe... cod, soft roe, tofu and vegetables.

Simmered taro... 里芋の煮っころがし

Boiled spinach... ほうれん草のお浸し

Pressed sushi... 押し寿司・・・プロ並みのうまさ！！

We had the happiest time at the hilltop radio shack... thank you all !!
