Cherry Blossom Festival 2014 at U.S. Army Camp Zama

今日、「キャンプ座間桜まつり」に行ってきました。天気予報は晴れマークだったのですが、途中から小雨がパラパラ・・・ま～大したことはありませんでしたが・・・それにしても、満開という評判だったのですごい人でした。
The Cherry Blossom Festival was held at U.S. Army Camp Zama today.

The weather report had been off and it began to rain softly, but nothing serious.

 There was a crush at the main street because of the public estimation of cherry blossoms.

来場者の桜以外の目的はフードショップです。今年は、かなりの数の店が出ていました。全部は紹介しきれないんだけれども、目についたものを紹介します。

基地の名前を付けたハンバーガー屋さん・・・佐世保に横須賀・・・

Visitors were enjoying not only cherry blossoms, but also food shops...There were more food shops than last year. Some remarkable food shops are shown below.

Sasebo Burger and Yokosuka Burger....names of American military bases in Japan.

日本のハンバーガーに対抗するかのように、こちらはアメリカンハンバーガー・・・

ブラジルのドッグも結構人気があるみたい・・・

Brazilian Hot Dog... very popular.

それで結局、私のランチはこれ・・・横須賀バーガー・・・$6.00

ま～、ちょっと雨に降られたけれども、なんとも楽しい桜まつりでした！！
