餅つき＠新年会

今日、夢クラブ・・・地域の老人会です・・・の新年会が自治会の集会所であり、みんなで餅つきをやりました。今時の老人・・・６０歳以上が会員の資格有り・・・は、みんな元気です、パワーが満ち溢れています。
We were holding New Year's Party at a meeting place of the neighborhood council today. And we all were doing "Pounding boiled rice" there.
"Pounding boiled rice" is Japanese unique production method of rice cake.

出席者と欠席者が半々ぐらい・・・欠席者にも、ちゃんとつきたての餅が配られます。つきたての餅は、本当にうまいです・・・あんこ、きなこ、大根おろし、納豆とトッピングも揃っていて、腹いっぱい食いました。

Rice cakes with sweetened red bean paste and soy flour. In addition, grated daikon (radish) and fermented soybeans were available today.

それで、余興におみくじなんかもあって、みんなでワイワイやってお昼の楽しい時間を過ごしました。

Written oracles.

私が引いたお箸、いやおみくじはこれ・・・

This is my written oracles on chopsticks, and it says "excellent luck" !!!!

ま～、老人会のことなんで縁起の悪いくじは入ってなく、全ての人が○吉で、エブリバディーハッピーということで賑やかな午後のひとときでした。

However, everybody got "good" or "excellent" or "best luck"...there was no "unlucky" hahaha...
